Drapht’s New Album Has Some Exciting Features


The Perth MC is set to drop his widely anticipated comeback album 7 Mirrors on the 19th of August later this year. Two days ago he took to social media to unveil a list of guests on the upcoming LP and its not the hip hop features that have got people excited.

Influential George front woman Katie Noonan is set to appear on the album and one can only imagine what that song is going to sound like. After the announcement people were very keen for one particular track that was released just yesterday called Mexico that features Brisbane’s own Dune Rats, you can listen to it here.

Safe to say we’re very excited to hear his newest drop, some of the big Oz hip hop names on 7 Mirrors include Hilltop Hoods, Briggs and Joyride. Two singles from this follow up album to his 2011 release The Life of Riley have already been made available, including Dancin’ John Doe and All Love.

Drapht and Dune Rats are set to perform at Shakafest on the Gold Coast in August alongside Sydney duo Spit Syndicate.
