In the past few years brands like Reebok Classics, adidas Originals and Puma have flocked to rappers to get cosigns from the most successful acts in the industry. On Saturday (July 9th) Future took to Instagram to announce his partnership with Reebok showing off his “Overbranded” Insta Pump Fury kicks. Not too long ago the Atlanta rapper, who is known for his innovative sound and different style, became the quickest artist to get three #1 albums in the last 50 years.
“I’m excited to kick off the summer with Reebok by my side,” Future said of the deal in a press release. “It’s a natural fit for me to work with a brand like Reebok that also shares my beliefs in moving culture forward and being passionate in what you believe in. Not only am I honored, but I feel privileged to be a part of the family.”
Recently Reebok has worked with Kendrick Lamar enjoying a well received and successful partnership. Within the last month they have released a skull grey pair of deconstructed Classic Leather shoes and announced The Classic Leather “Perfect Split” pack that are releasing tomorrow (we’ll update you on those ones a little later).
