Rarely does the topic of sneaker history come up without the inclusion of Jeff Staple, after the 2005 release of his iconic ‘Pigeon’ Dunk Jeff has been a highly sought after collaborator having recently teamed with PUMA on his first collection which featured the traditional Staple colourway transferred onto the ever classic PUMA Suede and Blaze of Glory.
Off the back of this successful release we see Jeff produce his first ever ‘360’ collaboration with a big sportswear brand in the shape of the NTRVL collection – with PUMA allowing Staple full creative control over footwear, apparel and accessories. The result is truly street, traditional tailoring combined with high performance materials. Couple that with Staple’s pigeon grey c/w and you’ve got yourself one clean apparel and headwear collection.
On the footwear side of things we see the IGNITE EvoKNIT, IGNITE Limitless, IGNITE 3, Blaze of Glory Sock and Clyde featuring split colour uppers with contrasting colours dividing the medial and lateral sides.
There’s so much more to say about this collection but we will let look book cover the rest.
