Sprung Hip Hop Festival Is Back For 2017

Sprung became Australia’s premier hip hop showcase during it’s grand entry back in 2011 and followed it up in 2012 with an even bigger and better event. Then in 2013 an attempt to expand to Melbourne failed due to licensing issues which cause the festival to go into hiatus for some time.

Now they are back with a diversified line up featuring new school dominators plus artists that have held a foothold in the industry for years like Illy and Spit Syndicate. Allday, Ivan Ooze and TKAY Maidza lead the way in terms of the new school acts, with all 3 of them gaining international recognition as well as holding tight onto their widespread national fame.

This year Sprung Festival will take place on the Gold Coast at a slightly smaller venue then before, presumably to make sure they don’t overshoot their return. It takes place on the 28th of October and tickets will go on sale this Thursday the 24th of August.
